The course is aimed at the learners practicing life-saving skills all the time, using basic and advanced equipment.

Requirements:
Registered doctors, nursing staff and advanced and intermediate life support paramedics, as well as final year students in these fields can attend the course. A valid AHA certificate (BLS/ACLS/PALS/) is a pre-entry requirement.

Duration:
ACLS 2 Days 8-18h00.
(BLS 6 hrs if required)

Course contents:
Basic and Advanced Airway Management
Cardiac arrest
Acute Coronary Syndromes and Stroke
Peri-arest situations eg bradycardia and tachycardia

Test:
There is an official exam at the beginning of the course.

Certificate:
On successful completion, each candidate receives a certificate which is valid for 2 years which is internationally recognised.

Cost:
R3100 pp for ACLS

R950 pp for BLS if required
Mailing of manuals R100 OR collect from us in Buffelsdoorn Street, Klerksdorp.

CPD points:
34 CPD (CEU) points for ACLS and 15 for BLS.

Learners should receive the prescribed manual at least 4 weeks prior to the course in order to prepare and benefit maximal from the course. We can also present the course at your premises at no extra cost if it is within a 50 km radius from Klerksdorp and you have at least 8 candidates. R4/km traveling cost and accomodation is payable if we need to travel further than 50 kms.
